ACADEMIC ADVISORY COUNCIL

IASMS seeks advices and suggestions constantly from the reputed academicians and industrialists. The composition of the academic advisory council vouches the commitment of the management in assembly of knowledge and ideas from the different corners of the world toward the quality of education and training in the campus.

1	Dr.T.Somasekhar	Chairman	Dr.T.Somasekhar possesses doctorate degree in Neurobiology and has extensive teaching and research experience. He held teaching and research positions at University of Southern California, Los Angeles; University of Illinois at Chicago and Ohio State Univ. Columbus, Ohio. He has many research papers to his credit in National and International Scientific Journals.
2	Mr. N. Krishnamurthy	Member	Mr.Krishnamurthy is an MBA from IIM - A. He has rich experience in manufacturing financial services and IT industry. He is currently heading VSM Software Private Limited at Bangalore.
3	Dr. Cynthia Menezes	Member	Dr. Cynthia Menezes is a senior Faculty Member in Canara Bank School of Management Studies. Expert in Management with specialization in International Business. She holds very key positions in many academic and administrative Committees of the University.
4	Dr. B. Rajasekaran	Member	Dr. Rajasekharan, Professor& Head, School of Management Studies, MS University. Renowned academician and credited with a lot of contributions to the field of management through his extensive research, particularly in Entrepreneurship.
5	Dr.M.Prakash	Member	Dr.M.Prakash is a renowned academician in Karnataka and honorable secretary to Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges' Association and Principal of Seshadripuram First Grade College,Yelahanka,Bangalore.
6	Prof. K.V.Kodandaramaiah	Member	Prof. K.V.K is a Director, Directorate of Collegiate Education, Karnataka. He plays vital role in making the higher education vibrant and excellent in the State of Karnataka.
7	Dr. Manju Singh	Member	Regional Officer, SWRO (the representative of AICTE).
8	Mr. A. Kuppuswamy	Member	Mr. Kuppuswamy holds B.E(NIT), MBA worked for 34 yrs for Bharath Electronics Ltd., Bangalore. Retired as the Deputy General Manager and involved mainly in Planning and Control of the manufacturing. Played significant role in the TQM programme of BEL.
9	Dr.Jesiah Selvam	Member	Dr.Jesiah Selvam former Director of IASMS. He possesses doctorate degree in Business Administration and has extensive teaching and research experience. Previously he served for the various universities abroad under UNDP Project. He has published many articles in the internationally and nationally reputed journals, besides published a book entitled, Privatization of Public Undertakings: Experimentation abroad.
